Day 330: Sweet Potatoes

Sweet potatoes are one of the best vegetables. They taste better than normal potatoes, they’re just as versatile as normal potatoes and they so much better for you than normal potatoes. I don’t mean to put down regular potatoes, I love regular potatoes, they taste great in every form and they are a reliable carb. They’re also very hard to cook badly. It’s a cook’s dream ingredient. However sweet potatoes are still better in my opinion. This is because they’re:

  • Highly nutritious
  • Promotes gut health
  • Supports healthy vision
  • Supports immune system
  • Supports brain function

To my American readers: as you are eating your sweet potatoes pies for your Thanks Giving dinners this evening, just remember that you’re not only eating an amazing carb, but you’re also helping your body function better.
