So often we define a person by their actions. We label them based on a mistake, based on a moment in a time. We call people liars because they’ve lied. We attach the action to the actor and feign surprise when they become the labels. We call people who perform selfish acts selfish instead of segregating one from the other.
People are people, and should not be defined by single actions. We all lie! We all act selfishly at times! But are we all selfish liars? So why are we so quick to label someone else for an action we so often participate in?
Thank you for reading.
