Day 220: Limerick

Today’s task was to write a limerick. I had no idea what a limerick was, so I did the thing I do best, I googled it. According to goggle, a limerick is: A limerick is a humorous poem consisting of five lines. The first, second, and fifth lines must have seven to ten syllables while rhyming and having the same verbal rhythm. The third and fourth lines only have to have five to seven syllables, and have to rhyme with each other and have the same rhythm.

There was a rat in a book

Who always had that look

As if he was skilled

Unlike ratatouille

He never learnt how to cook

Thank you for reading.
