I woke up dreading being up so early, another monday, another work day. This was my least favourite part of my day, this was the part I hated the most, waking up so early. I knew it would get better once I took a shower. The first 10 minutes of waking up were the worst but there was always something that made my morning worth it, that made waking up this early feel so great, the sunrise.
Opening my window and risking getting ill from the winter breeze, I leaned forward and gazed at the magnificent sunrise. The sun sat on top of a row of houses, perched nearby some tree, with the beautiful purple, orange and red rays, lighting up the sky. I stood there admiring God’s handiwork, I couldn’t take my eyes off it. I knew this was worth the pain of 6am alarms, to watch the earth wake up. The sun and the clouds fight for attention, with the sun clearly winning, whilst the clouds knew it had the rest of the day to dominate the sky. So much colour for such a short period of time, what a beautiful view to wake up to.
